About this bottle
Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut is a traditional-method sparkling wine from the Carneros region of Sonoma County, made by Gloria Ferrer, one of California's pioneering méthode champenoise producers with roots tied to the Spanish cava house Freixenet. Blended from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown in Carneros' cool, fog-influenced vineyards, it undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle, the same process used in Champagne, for fine, persistent bubbles. Expect crisp citrus and pear fruit with a creamy mouthfeel and toasty, brioche-like notes from time on the lees.
How to drink Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut
Chill it well and serve in a flute for a toast, or pour it as an aperitif alongside oysters or light seafood, where the crisp acidity cuts through richness.
