Bulleit Mesquite Smoked Malt is the brand's first bourbon to drop rye from the mash bill entirely, replacing it with mesquite wood-smoked malted barley — 65% corn, 30% mesquite-smoked malt, 5% malted barley. The smoke is real but restrained, savory underneath Bulleit's usual sweetness rather than overpowering it. Bottled at 46.5% ABV, released as a limited experimental run. This is Bulleit stepping outside its own house style on purpose, built for people who already know the standard bottling and want to taste where the brand can go.
