About this bottle
Casa Maestri's Reserva MFM Piña Colada is a tequila-based cream liqueur rather than a tequila, built around the coconut-and-pineapple flavours of the drink it is named for. It pours opaque and pale, and the nose is immediate: toasted coconut, ripe pineapple and vanilla. The palate is sweet and creamy, with coconut cream, pineapple juice and a light agave warmth behind it, finishing soft and tropical. Serve it very cold, straight from the fridge, in a small glass. It also blends well with ice for a frozen piña colada that needs no extra syrup, or pours over vanilla ice cream.
