About this bottle
El Tequileño is a family-run tequila producer founded in 1959 in Los Altos, Jalisco, one of the older continuously operating tequila houses still owned by its founding family. The Reposado expression is made from 100% blue agave and rested in American oak barrels long enough to earn the designation, layering vanilla and light caramel over a cooked-agave base that still shows through clearly. Expect a smooth, rounded palate with a gentle pepper note and a moderate, warming finish. It's built as a traditional, food-friendly reposado for drinkers who want an old-school Jalisco style rather than a modern boutique release.
