The brand's name references Frances Elizabeth Willard, a leading temperance activist who lived in Evanston, a deliberate irony given the city's dry history. Made from a corn-forward mash bill including rye and malted barley, and aged in new charred oak, it's built to be genuinely distilled and matured rather than sourced.
