About this bottle
Mendocino Spirits Gin is hand-distilled by Tamar Distillery using a 200-year-old copper Charentais still, a technique borrowed from French Cognac production. The base spirit is 80% GMO-free Quebec corn and 20% organic Italian wheat, double-distilled by master distiller Crispin Cain with a botanical bill of juniper, citrus peel, grains of paradise, orris root, rosemary, and cinnamon. The result leans bright and pine-forward — citrus and baking spice up front, orange zest and white pepper through the middle, with a creamy, almost custard-like texture before a clean, refreshing finish. It's a gin for drinkers who want a classic juniper-and-citrus profile made with old-world technique.
