About this bottle
Martini & Rossi has been making vermouth in Turin since 1863, and Extra Dry is their driest style — a white wine base fortified with neutral spirit and infused with a proprietary blend of botanicals, herbs, and spices, with far less sugar added than their sweet red vermouth. It's the standard call for a classic dry Martini, which is literally where the drink's name comes from, since Martini & Rossi was one of the earliest brands widely used for it. Vermouth is a fortified, aromatized wine rather than a spirit, and like wine it should be refrigerated after opening and used within a few weeks for the best flavor.
How to drink Martini & Rossi Extra Dry
Use it in a classic dry Martini with gin or vodka — a light rinse or a proper measure, depending on how dry you like it. It's also the base for a Vesper or a straightforward vermouth and soda over ice.
