About this bottle
Domaine Passy Le Clou Petit Chablis is a white Burgundy from the Petit Chablis appellation, the outer, lighter tier of the Chablis classification system in northern Burgundy, France. Like all Chablis, it's made entirely from Chardonnay, though Petit Chablis sits on soils outside the core Chablis and Premier Cru zones, generally producing a leaner, brighter style than those more prestigious appellations. Expect a nose of green apple and citrus with a flinty mineral edge, a palate that's crisp and unoaked with high acidity, and a clean, dry finish. Serve chilled - it's a classic pairing for oysters and other shellfish.

Questions about this bottle
Is Chablis the same grape as other white Burgundy?
Yes - all Chablis, including Petit Chablis, is made entirely from Chardonnay, but the cooler climate and chalky soil give it a leaner, more mineral style than Chardonnay from further south in Burgundy.
