About this bottle

Crowley's 2021 Willamette Valley Chardonnay comes from the Four Winds Vineyard, planted on volcanic soils in the McMinnville Coast Range. The wine ferments and ages 11 months in barrel (30% new oak) on its lees before finishing six months in steel, a process built for texture without heavy oak influence. The nose leans salty and taut, with green apple and passion fruit up front; the palate rounds out into pear and yellow apple, framed by bright, energizing acidity through a clean, long finish. It's a Chardonnay for drinkers who want structure without buttery weight, a good match for anyone exploring cool-climate Oregon whites.

How to drink Crowley Willamette Valley Chardonnay

Serve it well-chilled, around 50°F, in a standard white wine glass to keep the green apple and passion fruit notes lifted. It has the acidity and texture to sit through a full meal, pan-seared halibut or a roast chicken with lemon are both a natural match.
