Umano Kisi White Dry Wine 750 ML

Kisi is an indigenous Georgian white grape, grown almost entirely in Kakheti and nearly lost last century before growers brought it back. This is the dry version, made in a clean, fresh style rather than the amber qvevri treatment the variety is also known for. The nose is floral and orchard-fruited, with white peach, pear skin and a little linden blossom. The palate is dry and medium-bodied, showing green apple, quince and the faint nuttiness that is very much a Kisi signature, and the finish lands crisp and slightly herbal. Serve it well chilled with grilled fish, khachapuri, herb-heavy salads, or anything that wants acidity more than oak.
