Broadbent Madeira Sercial 10 year 750 ml
About this bottle
Broadbent Sercial Madeira, aged 10 years, is a fortified wine from the Portuguese island of Madeira, made from the Sercial grape, the driest of Madeira's classic four noble varieties. Madeira is uniquely heated during production, a process called estufagem, which gives it a distinctive caramelized, nutty character and near-indestructible shelf life once opened. Expect a nose of toasted nuts and dried citrus, a dry, high-acid palate balanced by rich caramelized notes, and a long, tangy finish. Serve slightly chilled, around 55-60°F, as an aperitif or alongside salty, savory appetizers.
