The 2020 Aloxe-Corton Les Chaillots from Louis Latour is a complex and seductive red Burgundy with a deep ruby colour and aromas of blackberry and black cherry with a subtle spiciness. On the palate, there are rich dark fruit and cherry flavours, hints of earth and cocoa powder, and well-integrated tannins. The wine has excellent balance, with a long finish and a velvety texture. It is a perfect example of the terroir-driven wines that Louis Latour is known for and yet another excellent expression of Burgundy.
