About this bottle
Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2013 is a vintage-dated Champagne, released only in years Moët's cellar master judges exceptional rather than every year like the house's non-vintage Brut Impérial. It is built from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier sourced from grand and premier cru vineyards, with a portion of still red wine blended in to give the Champagne its rosé color and added red-fruit depth. Expect a pale salmon hue, aromas of red berries and citrus zest, and a palate that balances fine bubbles with a touch of brioche from extended aging on the lees. This is a special-occasion bottle rather than an everyday sparkler.
How to drink Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2013
Chill it to around 45°F and serve in a tulip glass to let the red-fruit aromas open. It pairs well with roasted duck or a berry-based dessert, not just as an aperitif.
