About this bottle
Amrut Cask Strength is a single malt whisky from Amrut Distillery in Bangalore, India, one of the pioneering Indian single malts to gain international recognition, made from Indian-grown barley and bottled undiluted at cask strength. India's hot climate accelerates maturation the way Taiwan's does, so Amrut's relatively young whisky drinks with a maturity beyond its years. Expect tropical fruit, honey and spice on the nose, a rich, intense palate with dried fruit, oak and real heat, and a long, warming, spicy finish. It's a benchmark bottling for the 'world whisky' category outside Scotland and America.
