Amsterdam Pineapple 750ml

New Amsterdam Pineapple is a flavoured vodka built on the brand's grain vodka base, with pineapple layered on after distillation. It is not trying to be subtle. The fruit is forward and sweet, closer to fresh-cut pineapple than to a candy version of it, and the vodka underneath stays clean enough not to fight it, which is most of the reason the line has held its shelf space. The nose is pineapple with a little coconut behind it, the palate is sweet and juicy with tropical fruit and a citrus lift, and the finish is short, clean and lightly sugary. Serve it very cold on its own, shaken with lime, or long over ice with soda.
