Angel's Envy Cask Strength Rye is the limited, full-strength version of the brand's rye whiskey, finished in Caribbean rum casks, which is the move that made the standard bottling one of the more distinctive ryes on the shelf. This is the second edition of the cask strength release, dated 2026, bottled without the dilution that rounds off the regular expression. The nose is molasses, dried banana and rye spice. The palate is thick and sweet before the grain asserts itself, running brown sugar, baked fruit, black pepper and a cool mint edge, and the finish is long, hot and drying. Drink it neat, adding water a drop at a time until it settles.
