ARC Archipelago Barrel Reserve is a small-batch gin from Full Circle Craft Distillers, the Philippines' first craft distillery, based in Calamba, Laguna. The base gin is rested in toasted barrels after distillation, layering wood character on top of a botanical bill built around juniper, citrus, cinnamon, and cardamom. The nose leans into warm baking spice and citrus peel; on the palate, juniper and oak run through pomelo and floral notes, finishing with toasted caramel and a light cinnamon warmth. It drinks rounder and warmer than a typical London Dry, closer to a barrel-aged spirit than a classic garden gin. Good for anyone who wants a gin with genuine barrel depth rather than another juniper-forward pour.
