Bluecoat Barrel Finished is a limited release from Philadelphia Distilling, made from the same base spirit as their Bluecoat American Dry Gin and then rested in oak barrels for up to six months. The barrel time pulls it toward whiskey territory without losing the gin underneath: vanilla and oak sit alongside the citrus-forward botanical backbone, with juniper still present but softened. It's bottled at 94 proof, giving it enough weight to stand up in a stirred cocktail. How to drink Bluecoat Barrel Finished
