Bati Spiced Rum 750ml

Bati Spiced Rum comes from South Pacific Distilleries in Fiji, where the cane grows close enough to the still that the base rum carries a distinctly tropical character before any spice is added. That fruit underneath is what separates a good spiced rum from a vanilla syrup with alcohol in it. The nose is vanilla, cinnamon and warm baking spice over ripe banana, the palate brings brown sugar, clove, nutmeg and a soft cane sweetness, and the finish is warm and gently drying. It is built for mixing rather than contemplation. Pour it over ice with ginger beer and lime, or use it in a spiced piña colada.
