About this bottle
Bols Amaretto is an almond-flavored liqueur from Bols, the Amsterdam house that has been making liqueurs since 1575 and is one of the oldest spirits brands still in production. Amaretto's signature almond-and-marzipan character traditionally comes from apricot kernels as much as actual almonds, giving it a slightly bitter edge under the sweetness. Expect marzipan and cherry-pit notes on the nose, a sweet, nutty palate, and a smooth, lingering finish. A cocktail-bar and baking staple as much as a sipping liqueur.
