About this bottle
Bomberger's Declaration is a limited-edition straight bourbon from Michter's, named for the original Bomberger's Distillery that traces back to 1753 and is part of the lineage Michter's built its modern brand on. It's bottled uncut and unfiltered at barrel proof, so ABV varies release to release rather than sitting at a fixed number, and it draws on some of Michter's older stock. Expect a bold, high-proof pour with deep caramel, oak and dark fruit, more intense than Michter's standard-proof bourbon.
How to drink Bomberger's Declaration
Add a few drops of water to bring the barrel proof down to where the caramel and oak balance rather than drinking it fully hot.
