About this bottle
Broadbent Porto Vintage 2015 is a rich, fruity Portuguese fortified wine made from traditional local grapes Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional. It shows aromas of dark fruit, cocoa, plums, dates, and spice leading into a lush, powerful palate of blackberry, figs, passion fruit, and baking spices, with a light floral character. The finish is long, with nuances of dark coffee and tobacco — pairs nicely with dark chocolate desserts, aged cheeses, and blueberry tart.
How to drink Broadbent Vintage Port 2015
Decant it to separate the sediment vintage port throws with age, and serve slightly cool, around 60-65°F, in a smaller port glass. Dark chocolate, aged cheese, or a blueberry tart are the classic pairings.

Questions about this bottle
How should I serve Vintage Port?
Serve slightly below room temperature, around 60-65°F, in a small port glass. Vintage Port typically throws sediment, so stand the bottle upright for a day before serving and decant it off the sediment.
What makes 'Vintage' Port different from other styles?
Vintage Port is made only in exceptional years from a single harvest and bottled after about two years in barrel, then ages primarily in the bottle, unlike Tawny Port, which ages for years in wood before release.
Who is behind the Broadbent name?
Broadbent is run by Bartholomew Broadbent, son of the renowned wine writer and Christie's auctioneer Michael Broadbent, and specializes in importing Port and other fortified wines.
