Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 18 Year is a heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky at 40 PPM, distilled from 100% Scottish barley, matured entirely on Islay, and bottled at 51.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle, non-chill filtered and naturally colored. The nose carries smoke and sea salt over sherry-cask sweetness, the palate is dense with peat, dried fruit, and dark chocolate, and the finish runs long and smoky with a lingering warmth. Eighteen years lets the peat integrate rather than dominate. It suits peat lovers who want smoke balanced by real cask depth rather than raw intensity alone.
