Capensis 2015 is a South African Chardonnay from Capensis, a winery founded with backing from California's Jackson Family Wines specifically to focus on high-end Chardonnay from the Western Cape's Walker Bay and Elgin regions. Expect a nose of citrus, stone fruit and toasted oak, a palate that's full-bodied with ripe orchard fruit, creamy texture and balanced acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish. Serve chilled, around 50-55°F, alongside roast chicken, seafood in cream sauce, or a soft cheese course.

It's built to age a few years if you want the oak to integrate further, though it already drinks well on release.
