About this bottle
Chateau Haut Le Pereyre Entre-Deux-Mers is a dry white Bordeaux from the strip of land between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers that gives the appellation its name. Whites here are blends built around Sauvignon Blanc with Semillon and often a little Muscadelle, fermented cool in stainless steel so the fruit stays bright and the wine stays lean. Grapefruit, lemon zest and a grassy, faintly floral note lead the nose. The palate is dry and crisp with white peach and citrus pith over a mineral core, and the finish is short and clean in the best sense. Serve it well chilled with oysters, goat cheese, or anything off a summer grill.
