The salt is the useful part, cutting the sweetness enough to keep the whisky visible. The nose is dessert-forward, all warm caramel and vanilla with an orange oil lift. The palate is smooth and sweet, chewy toffee and a saline edge over soft grain and light oak. The finish is short, clean and lightly bitter.
