Cutwater Spirits Mezcal Reposado 750 ml

Cutwater Mezcal Reposado is an agave spirit rested in oak, which softens the smoke that a joven wears openly and pulls the spirit toward vanilla and caramel. The barrel time shows in colour and texture more than in heavy wood flavour. The nose is smoky and sweet, roasted agave and campfire smoke sitting under vanilla and dried orchard fruit. The palate is rounder and warmer than the unaged bottling, with cooked agave, toffee and a peppery smoke running through the middle. The finish is medium, dry and gently ashy. Sip it neat, or build a smoky old fashioned with agave syrup and orange bitters.
