Don Julio 1942 Year of the Snake is the 2025 Lunar New Year edition, the familiar anejo dressed in a limited bottle design for the occasion. The liquid is the one that built the reputation: highland Jalisco blue agave, slow-cooked and distilled, then rested in American oak until the vanilla and caramel weight arrives. Roasted agave, vanilla and warm oak on the nose; caramel, almond, cocoa and ripe agave across the palate; a long, soft finish that stays sweetly oaked rather than sharp.
