About this bottle
Dos Artes Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, rested eight months in American oak barrels — well past the minimum two-month reposado threshold. Dos Artes is known for hand-painted, artist-decorated bottles as much as for the liquid inside, but the extra time in wood does real work here too: a light amber color and a nose of oak, vanilla, and caramel layered over the base agave sweetness. On the palate it is smooth and mellow with a warm, rounded finish. It suits both neat sipping and cocktails that call for a tequila with some backbone.
How to drink Dos Artes Reposado
Sip it neat to appreciate the eight months of oak, or use it in a reposado Paloma where its vanilla notes stand up better than a blanco's would against grapefruit soda.
