About this bottle
Dos Caras "Old Soul" is an extra añejo tequila from Arandas, in the Jalisco highlands, made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in that region's red, mineral-rich soil. Master distiller Gilberto Jasso-Garcia cooks the agave in vertical autoclaves rather than the more common brick ovens, ferments the juice in open-air stainless steel for up to 72 hours, then double distills it — first in stainless steel with copper coils, then in pure copper stills — before five years of aging in American oak. No additives, kosher certified. Expect sweet, roasted agave up front with honey, maple, raisin, vanilla, and pear layered through a caramel finish. Bottled at 40% ABV, it's built for tequila drinkers who want something closer to a fine aged spirit than a mixer.
