Big Peat is Douglas Laing's blended malt Scotch whisky, marrying single malts from multiple Islay distilleries into one non-age-statement bottling at 46% ABV. Islay whisky means peat smoke is the headline here — expect brine, iodine, and campfire smoke up front, with a thread of honeyed sweetness underneath that keeps it from tipping into ashtray territory.
