Dry Fly Hibiscus Cosmo is a canned cosmopolitan variation at 5.8% alcohol by volume, made by Dry Fly Distilling in Spokane, Washington. Hibiscus is a smart addition to a cosmo, because its natural tartness and deep red colour do the same job as cranberry while adding a floral note the original never had. The nose is hibiscus, cranberry and orange peel. The palate is tart red berry with floral hibiscus and a citrus lift running underneath, and the finish is crisp and clean. At this strength it drinks like a session cocktail. Chill it thoroughly, pour into a coupe over no ice, and add an orange twist.
