About this bottle
Foursquare Sovereignty is a 14 year old rum from Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, part of founder Richard Seale's Exceptional Cask Selection series. It's aged in ex-bourbon barrels before finishing in ex-Madeira casks, and like the rest of the Foursquare range, it's bottled without added sugar or coloring and left non-chill filtered. Expect dried fruit, toffee, and oak on the nose, a smooth, creamy palate carrying caramel, vanilla, and baking spice, and a long, gently sweet finish. It's built as a sipping rum for someone who wants an age-stated Barbados rum with real cask character behind it.
