Glen Grant 15 Year sits between the brand's lighter, younger expressions and the deeper, more sherried 18 Year, matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and bottled at a higher-than-usual 50% ABV rather than the standard 40-43% most single malts run at. That extra strength gives it more concentration and a bigger mouthfeel while still showing the distillery's generally elegant house style — honey, dried fruit, and toffee rather than heavy peat or aggressive oak. Glen Grant remains one of Italy's most popular whiskies thanks to Campari Group's ownership and distribution, even though the whisky itself is unmistakably Speyside in character.
