About this bottle
The GlenDronach Revival Aged 15 Years is a Highland single malt Scotch matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía. GlenDronach retired the 15 in 2015 when mature stock ran dry; its 2018 return handed sherried-whisky drinkers their benchmark back, bottled at 46% ABV. This is full sherry maturation, not a finish, and dark fruit runs top to bottom — maraschino cherry, bramble, and dark chocolate on the nose, honey-glazed apricot, ripe fig, and black cherry across the palate, then a long fade of dark manuka honey, herbal bitters, and cocoa. Pour the Revival neat after dinner, in place of dessert rather than beside it.
