Glenfarclas 25 Year is a Speyside single malt Scotch from the family-owned Grant distillery, matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks for a quarter century. The extended aging gives it far more depth than the brand's 10 or 12 Year expressions, with the sherry influence building into a dense, dried-fruit character over that long a maturation. Expect dried fruit, toffee, and baking spice on the nose, a rich, full-bodied palate with dark chocolate and oak, and a long, smooth finish.
