This Glenfiddich limited edition is a 16 year old Speyside single malt released from the Dufftown distillery in collaboration with Aston Martin. Glenfiddich is one of the few large Scotch houses still owned by the founding family, and its character stays remarkably consistent across the range: fruit-forward, gently oaked, rarely peated. At sixteen years expect pear and baked apple on the nose with a layer of oak spice behind them, a palate of honey, toffee and dried orange over soft tannin, and a long, warming finish. We have left cask and strength detail blank rather than guess at this release. Pour it neat in a copita.
