Glenmorangie A Tale of Spices

Glenmorangie A Tale of Spices belongs to the distillery's limited A Tale of series, one-off Highland single malts released as standalone stories rather than as part of the core range. Glenmorangie distils in the tallest stills in Scotland, about the height of a giraffe, and that height is why the new make comes off so light and floral and takes added flavour so willingly. This release leans, as the name promises, toward warm spice: cinnamon, clove and candied orange on the nose, a palate of honey, baked fruit and gentle pepper, and a long, sweetly spiced finish. Drink it neat, in a copita, after a meal.
