Holystone Distilling Perla Vodka 750ml

Perla is Holystone Distilling's vodka, made to be clean without being characterless — which is the difference between a vodka that tastes of nothing and one that tastes like a well-made neutral spirit. Distillation and filtration strip out the rough edges; what should remain is texture rather than absence. The nose is faintly grainy and sweet, the palate soft and rounded with a light cereal note and a touch of mineral, and the finish short, cool and clean with no burn on the way down. Serve it very cold and neat, in a martini with the barest whisper of vermouth, or in a properly made mule.
