Ice Tray

An ice tray is a component of a freezer or refrigerator that is used to freeze and store ice cubes. Most ice trays are made of plastic or rubber and have small compartments in the shape of cubes or tubes. The water used to fill the tray can be plain tap water or a flavored mixture, depending on what type of ice cubes are desired. Ice trays can be removed from the freezer and placed in the refrigerator door to make it easier to access cubes. Ice trays can also be used to make frozen treats, such as popsicles.
