About this bottle
Insolente Extra Añejo is the brand's oldest tequila expression, aged a minimum of three years in oak — the threshold required for any tequila to carry the Extra Añejo designation, the highest aging class on the scale above Añejo. That extended barrel time pushes the spirit close to a fine brandy in character: deep caramel, dried fruit, chocolate, and baking spice layered over a softened agave base, with the raw pepper and vegetal notes of a younger tequila almost entirely resolved into wood. It's built for slow sipping, not mixing. This bottle suits tequila drinkers ready to treat agave spirit the way they would an aged whiskey or Cognac.
How to drink Insolente Extra Añejo
Pour it neat in a snifter, the same way you'd serve a fine brandy — this is far too developed to waste in a mixed drink. If you want it slightly opened up, a single large ice cube works better than a full rocks pour.
