This 2018 bottling is Cabernet Sauvignon grown on that site, distinct from J. Lohr's broader-blend Estates wines because it comes from one parcel rather than several. Paso Robles Cabernet from elevation like this tends toward darker fruit and firmer structure than valley-floor fruit, with real aging potential. This is a step up from J. Lohr's entry-level Cabernet for someone who wants to taste a single Paso Robles vineyard specifically.
