It's a blended gold rum built for everyday mixing and sipping rather than an extra-aged expression. The nose carries caramel and light tropical fruit, the palate is smooth with vanilla and brown sugar, and the finish is short with gentle warmth. It carries some of the funky, ester-driven character Jamaican rum is known for, though in a milder form than a full pot-still rum. Good for a rum punch or a simple rum and coke.
