About this bottle
Jack Daniel's 10 Year Old is an aged expression of the Lynchburg, Tennessee whiskey brand, notable because Jack Daniel's rarely carries an age statement on its standard lineup. Like all Jack Daniel's whiskey, it goes through the Lincoln County Process — filtering through sugar maple charcoal before barreling — which gives it a smoother, slightly sweeter edge than a typical bourbon. The extra decade in barrel adds deeper oak and spice than the standard Old No. 7. Expect caramel and charred oak on the nose, brown sugar and baking spice on the palate, and a long, warm finish.
How to drink Jack Daniel's 10 Year
Neat or with a single large ice cube lets the extra barrel time show; save the cola for the younger stuff and let this one stand on its own.
