Every bottle is barrel-proof and non-chill filtered, bottled from just one or two barrels at a time, so batches vary noticeably — Peerless treats that variation as a feature rather than something to standardize away. Made from a mash of corn, rye, and malted barley and aged in new charred American oak, it comes out with a deep amber color, sweet oak aroma, and a smooth, mellow palate of caramel, vanilla, and oak, closing on a long, warm, spiced finish.
