About this bottle
Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2020 Edition is the annual sherry-cask release from Kilchoman Distillery on Islay, one of the island's newest and smallest farm distilleries, growing some of its own barley on-site in addition to sourcing peated malt. Loch Gorm is matured entirely in ex-oloroso sherry casks, unlike Kilchoman's usual bourbon-cask-driven core range, giving it a richer, fruitier counterpoint to the peat. Expect smoke and dried fruit on the nose, a rich, sherried palate with peat and dark spice, and a long, smoky-sweet finish. A sought-after annual release for Islay collectors.
