Like the rest of the Kuleana line, it starts from Hawaiian sugarcane, giving the base spirit a grassier, more agricole-leaning character than a typical molasses rum before the oak adds its own layer. Two years in wood brings vanilla, caramel, and light oak spice to the front, while the underlying cane sweetness still comes through on the finish.
