Lagavulin Grain & Embers 12 Year Old is part of Diageo's 2025 Special Releases program, an annual limited-edition single malt from the iconic Islay distillery known for some of Scotch's most intensely peated whisky. Bottled at cask strength, well above Lagavulin's standard 43% expression, it delivers the distillery's signature heavy peat smoke and maritime character with none of the softening a lower proof would bring. Expect thick bonfire smoke, iodine and dark fruit on the nose, with an intense, warming, smoky palate. How to drink Lagavulin Grain & Embers
