Lower entry proof preserves soft wood sugars and gentler tannins in the barrel, and BEP amplifies that character with ten virgin toasted American oak finishing staves. The result leads with toasty vanilla and caramel on the nose, turns bright with brown sugar on the palate, and closes on rich caramel and dry baking spices.
