M&H Elements Peated is a single malt whisky from Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel — not Scotland, despite the smoky style. The malted barley is peated before mashing, then distilled and matured in Israel's hot, dry climate, which pushes maturation faster than a cooler climate like Scotland's, so a few years of Tel Aviv heat can do the work of a much longer maturation elsewhere. Expect smoke layered over honeyed sweetness rather than a purely maritime peat character, with the accelerated aging showing as a fuller body than the age statement might suggest. Bottled at 46% ABV, it's built for drinkers curious about where world whisky is headed outside Scotland and Japan.
